Anti-War Protests in Liverpool

Two lots of protests took place in Liverpool City Centre yesterday, March 20th. One largely led by groups of schoolkids, many still in uniform, blocked major city centre roads, causing havoc. The main protest took place at 5pm yesterday in Liverpool as around 1500 people people blocked many major roads in the city centre, the cops tried to intervene a number of times but were forced to stand aside as the protests pushed forward and blocked more roads. The protest continued for around three and a half hours. When police managed to organise the traffic and divert it protesters moved elsewhere. Stop the War protesters block Lime Street
These protests we believe must begin to take place in the mornings before work. After all its about causing maximum economic damage.
We must also support the kids who are talking risks coming out of the schoolgates. I noticed a number of people with clipboards yesterday afternoon - with truency files on them.
